Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 416 West North Avenue, on the corner of West North Avenue and Resaca Place.
From the East, take I-376 to downtown Pittsburgh. Follow the signs for North Shore, I-279 over the Fort Duquesne Bridge. On the bridge, stay to the left and follow the North Shore exit towards Heinz Stadium. At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn right on Allegheny Blvd. At the third light, turn right on North Ave. Go through three lights, plus one more block. The church will be on your left on the corner of Resaca Place.
From South and from the airport, take I-279 towards Pittsburgh. Follow the signs for the North Shore and go through the Fort Pitt tunnels. Once you are on the Fort Pitt bridge, move immediately into the left lane. Take the I-279/North Shore exit onto the Fort Duquesne bridge. On the bridge, stay to the left and follow the North Shore exit towards Heinz Stadium. At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn right on Allegheny Blvd. At the third light, turn right on North Ave. Go through three lights, plus one more block. The church will be on your left on the corner of Resaca Place.
From the Northwest and Sewickley via Rt. 65, take Rt. 65 south towards Pittsburgh . Take the North Shore exit. At the second light, turn left onto Allegheny Avenue. At the second light turn right onto North Avenue. Go through three lights, plus one more block. The church will be on your left on the corner of Resaca Place.
From the North, take I-279 towards Pittsburgh, watching for Exit 8B – To 28 North and East Street. It will exit right. Take this exit. After the stop sign at the end of the ramp, proceed to the light at the next cross-street, East North Avenue. Take a right onto East North, which turns into West North ast Federal St. The Church is 5 blocks after Federal Street, on the right at the corner of Resaca Place.
From the Northeast via Rt. 28, take Rt. 28 south towards Pittsburgh. Take the East Ohio Street exit. Take East Ohio through four lights. Turn right onto Cedar. At the next light, turn left onto North Street. Go through about three traffic lights. The church will be on your right on the corner of Resaca Place.
From the Far North – I-76 and I-79, drive south toward Pittsburgh on I-79. Exit LEFT onto I-279 South to Pittsburgh when the highway splits (just south of Cranberry). Drive south on I-279. When you are nearing downtown (10 mi. or so), watch for Exit 8B – To 28 North and East Street. It will exit right. Take this exit. After the stop sign at the end of the ramp, proceed to the light at the next cross-street. This is East North Avenue. Take a right onto East North Ave, which becomes West North Ave after Federal Street.. The Church is after five blocks past Federal Street on the right at the corner of Resaca Place.
From the Far South – I-70 and I-79, drive north to Pittsburgh on I-79. Exit to I-279 into Pittsburgh. Move to the left lane and come through the Fort Pitt Tunnel. Cross the Fort Pitt Bridge and move into the extreme left-hand lane. Follow the lane/ramp onto the Fort Duquesne Bridge taking you to the North Side/North Shore. Stay in the middle lanes on the bridge and proceed straight ahead – follow sign for Routes 19 & 65 Ohio River Boulevard (Exit 7B). Do not exit to the right or left at the end of the bridge. As you come by the new stadium, Heinz Field, move to the right lanes and follow signs for Routes 19 & 51 West End Bridge. (this is the next exit) As you come onto the ramps, move into the extreme right lane for Western Avenue and turn right onto Western. Stay on Western Avenue until it reaches Brighton Road (apx. four traffic lights). You will see the edge of the Commons (park). Turn left onto Brighton Road. Proceed one block to the traffic light. Turn right onto West North Avenue. The Church is three blocks on the left at the corner of Resaca Place.
