Our Summer Stoop Sits are an opportunity for friendship, conversation, and refreshments with interesting folks from the church and neighborhood. Come to hang with old friends or to meet some new ones. Talk about what’s going on in the world and listen to the perspectives of others. Share what’s on your mind or in your heart. Enjoy the beauty and charm of the Mexican War Streets and West Park on a warm summer evening. Bring snacks, drinks, or just yourself. All are welcome! Begins at 5:30pm at Unitarian House behind Allegheny UU Church, W North & Resaca, North Side.
Friday June 24 – Stoop, There It Is! Have you been looking for a way to start your weekend off with some snacks, drinks and meaningful conversation? If so, we invite you to sit with us on The Stoop with Soul (and a little splash of Social Justice). The Social Justice aspect will take the form of some letter writing to legislators to work towards an end to gun violence and for just and fair laws for the LGBTQ community. Or simply sit with us in friendship and enjoy some refreshments.
