Our Share the Plate collection during September and October raised $585 for Hope Grows, which restores the lives of those impacted by the role of caregiver and inspires wellness of mind, body, and spirit through the use of counseling, education, retreats, supportive services, and healing and restorative gardens.
Allegheny’s Share the Plate program began in 2010 and directs half of our Sunday plate collection to justice partners doing important work in the communities of Pitttsburgh’s North Side and beyond. So far we have collected and distributed $20,918 to 24 justice partners. If you know of an organization or project doing good works contact <sharetheplate at alleghenyuu.org>.
