welcome matAllegheny member and immigration attorney Christina Powers and the Northern Area Multi-Service Center are organizing sessions to assist refugees with their citizenship documentation. The process is complex and there is a backlog of paperwork that stands between our newest neighbors and becoming United States citizens. We will be assisting people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and countries including Bhutan, Somalia, and others.

There will be an orientation session on Saturday April 23 (10am to noon) to become familiar with the forms and workflow and to receive some some basic cultural competency training.
