Celebrating unity and diversity through music and dance, these 11th Annual Concert Celebrations of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday will include many familiar faces. Our music minister Kris Rust is co-founder of the event along with Rev. Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones, artistic director of the Heritage Gospel Chorale of Pittsburgh. Several area choirs participate, and there will be singers from many local UU congregations. The glorious voice of Rev. Deryck Tines will also be there.

Saturday January 13 at Ebeneezer Baptist Church in the Hill District and Monday January 15 at the Byham Theater downtown. Both at 7pm.

There is no charge for admission to either concert. Tickets are required for Monday’s show at the Byham Theater. Donations will be accepted at the door and will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.
