This is a time when many are experiencing an increase in food insecurity, and there is concern over our stewardship of the earth. Here at Allegheny we are holding up Grow Pittsburgh through June. Their mission is to teach people how to grow food and promote the benefits that gardens bring to our neighborhoods. They prioritize neighborhood voices to guide their programs, and support everyone’s right to access, produce and distribute healthy and culturally appropriate food.
