Ready to “Do Something” for trans people of color? The youth from the Unitarian Universalist Church of the South Hills are organizing local UUs to gather products requested by trans people of color which will be donated to PERSAD’s pantry. Here is a list of products that would be useful:
- Items with shae butter
- African hair & skin care items
- Socks (all sizes, but emphasis on sturdy not cute)
- Also requested are stable pantry items: chips, canned goods, pasta, rice, condiments, microwaveable, shelf-stable walk-n-eat type stuff.
- And bags to carry the items away!
The plan is to gather these items at Allegheny UU throughout May, and then have the youth deliver them to PERSAD on Sunday May 26 after worship. Your generosity is appreciated!
