Join us for a Community Drum Circle with Jim Donovan! This is a family-friendly event – $15 for adults and free for kids. Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 12:30pm until 1:30pm. Bring your drum and percussion instruments or borrow one of Jim’s.
Discover why people from all over the globe have been drumming together for thousands of years! Even if you consider yourself “unmusical”, group drumming is an accessible entry point into the rewarding world of music creation. In a drum circle, you are never expected to be perfect, or even any “good” at it – all that is required is a willingness to try!
Jim Donovan is a master facilitator, inspirational trainer, and world-class musician with over 25 years of leadership, teaching, and performance experience. Donovan has helped many thousands of people learn effective ways to consciously lead, connect, and live healthier, more productive lives.
An hour of making music with Jim always helps us: Increase our focus. Listen better. Connect with others. Work together. Relax. Let go of stress and anxiety. Have fun. Think creatively. Find and refine our own voice.
Come early for the 10:30am service as Jim helps us enter the new year more in tune with ourselves and those around us.
