Violinist Lydia Chorapoozha, violist Warren Davidson, and Pittsburgh Symphony associate principal cellist Adam Liu will explore the Serenade of Erno Dohnanyi and Three Spirituals by Adolphus Hailstork. The evening will be crowned by what is simply the most beautiful piece ever written for string trio: Mozart’s Divertimento. Soaring melodies, charming rhythms, lines written to perfectly exploit the capabilities of each instrument – it just doesn’t get any better than this.

Allegheny Church, built in 1909, is a marvelous setting for chamber music. It is a warm, friendly environment with an excellent acoustic, and is an ideal size, seating just over 100 people.
