Maybe the 5th of July, the day after Independence Day, should be “Interdependence Day!” Worship is always an interdependent experience. Speaking, listening, singing, praying all depend on mutual participation of those gathered–including the presence of Mystery & Wonder. Worship on Interdependence Sunday this year will be an opportunity to respond to the stirrings of your life. Everyone is invited to open your hearts to the movement of the spirit to create worship together through song and word and silence. Come prepared with a song or a reading that’s nourishing your soul these days. Or flip through the pages of Singing the Living Tradition and discover inspiration there. It’s like a UU/Quaker mash-up. Come ready for anything. Come ready to be moved.
