This month as we explore the art of cultivating “awe” as a spiritual practice, the month’s spiritual focus begins on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2019, with, “An Hour of Memory, Healing, and Joy.” World AIDS Day has been honored every year on December 1 since 1988. This year’s worldwide theme, “Ending the HIV Epidemic: Community by Community” celebrates the gift of community as a bridge to healings of all kinds. Come to grow in community with those around you who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Join with Rev. Dave McFarland and Rev. Deryck Tines to build a community of memory and grief, healing and joy, through this extraordinary congregation’s journey through HIV/AIDS.
