Our Share the Plate collection during September and October 2016 raised $709 for CeaseFirePA, which is working to reduce gun violence and gun tragedies in our communities, stop the flow of illegal guns onto ceasefirepaour streets, and keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have them.

Allegheny’s Share the Plate program began in 2010 and directs half of our Sunday plate collection to justice partners doing important work in the communities of Pittsburgh’s North Side and beyond. So far we have collected and distributed $24,737 to 30 justice partners. If you know of an organization or project doing good works contact <sharetheplate at alleghenyuu.org>.
