Just as the President gives the State of the Union address, Allegheny will hold a mid-year “state of the church” congregational meeting on Sunday, January 24th at 12pm in Founders Hall. At this meeting the Board as well as other committees will report on the status of various church programs, announce new ideas and initiatives, and invite the congregation to discussion on a variety of topics. This year we will be talking about the Stewardship Committee’s End of Year Campaign, get updates on finances and religious education. In addition, we will have a discussion about Allegheny’s participation in the Black Lives Matter movement as well as the state and future use of our buildings. Members, friends, and visitors are all welcome to attend and learn about what’s going on at the church. A light lunch and childcare will be provided.
