Assemble Care Packages for Women’s Shelter

One of the more egregious holiday myths is that domestic violence increases during this season. Myth though it may be, we know that for survivors, domestic violence knows no season. The youth from the Unitarian Universalist Church of the South Hills are organizing local UUs to gather products requested by trans people of color which will be donated to PERSAD’s pantry. Bikes, trikes, or unicycles, fixed gear or 26-speed, muddy trails or city streets – what’s your ride? Come for our 8th annual Blessing of the Bikes, affectionately known as “Biketism” following the Earth Day worship service on Sunday, April 28. All ages and stages are welcome! Free coffee and donuts.
